Southwood Community Center (Youth)

Southwood Community Center provides an after-school program committed to providing a positive, structured leisure time for youth in their “off” hours.  Open weekdays from 3 to 6 p.m., the center offers homework help and a safe, supervised environment for your teens.

This program is available Monday-Friday from 3-6 p.m. for 6th-9th graders. Registration began August 1. The after school program officially begins Aug. 27  and is CLOSED September 3, November 22-23, and December 24–January 1. Residents pay $30 per school year and Non-residents pay $60 per school year. Daily rates for residents are $2 and daily rates for Non-residents are $4. Buses cost $2.50 per ride or $50 for 25 rides.  The buses load after school from AMCMS, Cypress Grove, and Oakwood.  Call 979.764.6351 for more information or register online HERE.
