Challenger Bowling provides a recreational program for special needs individuals and teaches them the fundamentals of bowling.  There is a “Challenger Committee” which is a tremendous help in the coordination of all of our challenger activities.

This program is open for special needs individuals, male and female, ages 5-8.  Anywhere from 30-70 children participate in this program each year.  The season takes place in the months of June, July and August on Wednesday afternoons at Grand Station, 2400 Earl Rudder Freeway South, College Station, TX  77845.  Each player receives a T-shirt and an award for their participation.  Participants will be charged a fee of $15.

Super Star Summer Camps for ages 6-9 yrs.
Tuesday July 23 – Thursday July 25
From 1pm – 4pm
Cost: $150
This camp focuses on Ballet, Jazz, Pom and hip hop dance styles. Dancers will learn technique as well as combinations. Dancers are encouraged to wear any previous year’s dance costume to camp everyday. (For example: previous recital costumes, competition costumes etc…) Sunglasses, feather boas, pom poms and props are utilized in dances. Jazz, ballet or dance sneakers are to be worn to camp. Please pack a snack.

Tutus & Tiaras Summer Camps for ages 3-5 yrs.
Tuesday July 30 – Thursday August 1
From 1pm – 4pm
Cost: $150
This camp focuses on Ballet, Tap beginner jazz and beginner pom pom techniques. Dancers are encouraged to wear their favorite princess costume, ballerina tutus, previous years costumes, tiaras etc… Dancers will each have a chance to dance with props, pom poms, feather boas, and more. Ballet shoes are to be worn. Tap shoes are optional. (Must be potty trained.) Please pack a snack.

Intensive Dance Camps for ages 10+
Tuesday August 6 – Thursday August 8
From 10am – 3pm
Cost: $225
This camp will focus on several genres such as Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip hop, Modern, Musical Theater, Contemporary, Pom pom, kickline and more. This is for the more serious dancer wanting to either learn about new genres, or for the dancer that wants to continue studies with familiar genres to prepare for professional dancing or performing. Also a great camp for those wanting to try out for drill team, college dance teams, professional cheerleader squads, etc… Jazz shoes, ballet shoes, and tap shoes are necessary. Please pack a lunch along with a snack.
