On July 18, 2012 Barnes & Noble’s new Hands-On Learning Event series continues with a Leapfrog Geography Relay. This fun and interactive event will help children develop map skills by learning the geography of the U.S. through the use of Leapfrog’s Tag™ United States of America map and Tag™ Reader pen. Children will be able to explore the major regions of the United States including mountain ranges, deserts, lakes, and rivers. The event will also include a fun group games where participants will compete to locate the states and capitals as fast as they can! Space is limited so stop by today or call to register for a spot!
The Barnes & Noble’s Toys & Games Department features 3,000-square-feet of play space incorporating interactive displays, creativity and learning through activities, scientific discoveries, and favorite children’s characters. Through unique strategic partnerships with world renowned toy and games manufacturers, Barnes & Noble has five interactive play areas – Building, Learning, Imagining, Creating and Playing – that offer children hands-on learning experiences in a fun, engaging and comfortable environment.
