Ballet Brazos proudly announces Open Auditions for its first annual performance of The Nutcracker.

Audition Fee:   $35 for ages 13 and up;   $20 for ages 6-12;    $15 for boys

9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. | Ages 13+ with at least three years of ballet training

10:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m | Ages 13+ optional pointe audition

11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. | Age 6-8 with at least one year of ballet training

12:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. | Age 9-12 with at least two years of ballet training.

Auditions open to both girls and boys.  (Dance experience not required for boys, but acting ability is a plus!) Ladies must audition in pink tights, black leotards, ballet shoes, and with hair secured in a bun.  Dancers 13 and older who currently study en pointe should bring pointe shoes.

The performance will take place Saturday, December 8 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. at Margaret Rudder Performing Arts Center (Rudder High School).
